The CLAT 2021 syllabus covers all of the subjects that law students must study in order to pass the test. CLAT Scores are recognized by 22 NLUs and other law schools for admission to 3-year and 5-year Integrated LLB and LLM programs. Syllabi are different for each programs.

CLAT UG 2021 Syllabus for the English Language

Each passage will be 450 words long. The same is chosen from a 12th-grade student’s contemporary or historically relevant fiction and non-fiction work. CLAT 2021 PG Exam Syllabus

The Objective and Descriptive Portions of the PG-CLAT 2021 will be split into two sections.

The paragraphs in the Objective part will be followed by a series of questions asking the candidate to:

  • Read and understand the problems raised in the passage. This might also contain any arguments or points of view mentioned in the paragraph.
  • Summarise the passage.
  • Apply your legal understanding to the passage.
  • Be aware of the problems raised in the text, as well as the legal issues and facts surrounding it and the legislation or judgment from which it was derived.

CLAT LLM Question Pattern 2021 – Test structure

There will be two components to the CLAT LLM: Objective and Descriptive. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the objective portion, each worth one mark. The descriptive portion, on the other hand, aims to assess the candidates’ writing abilities. As a result, applicants will be asked to write two 800-word essays on assigned subjects in this part. CLAT LLM Question Pattern (Old) – With no Descriptive Section

CLAT LLM was performed without a descriptive section in the final two secessions (2020 and 2021). Because of the issues presented by COVID-19, the description part was removed. There was just one portion of the CLAT LLM, which consisted of 120 objective questions. Below is the test structure for the previous pattern.
