SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2021

The SNAP Exam Eligibility authority, Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune, has released the SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2021 for all three SNAP examinations scheduled for December 9, 2021, February 8, 2022, and January 16, 2022.

Two key SNAP Exam Eligibility requirements are included in the SNAP 2021 Eligibility criteria. The first component of the SNAP Eligibility criterion is SNAP exam eligibility for the SNAP 2021 entrance test, and the second portion is post SNAP exam eligibility with cut offs as required by each of the 16 Symbiosis institutions for MBA admission.

The Symbiosis International University (SIU) in Pune has released the SNAP 2021 Eligibility Criteria, as well as the requirements for applying to each of the 16 Symbiosis Institutes.

The SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2021 and Symbiosis institute eligibility are among the recommendations provided by SIU Pune about SNAP Exam Eligibility 2021. The following are significant aspects in the SNAP eligibility requirements that are commonly discussed:

 

Eligibility Criteria for the SNAP Exam in 2021:

The main element in the SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2021 is that a candidate must be a graduate from any recognized / statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) to apply for and take the SNAP test.

 

Symbiosis Institutes' SNAP Eligibility Criteria:One of the universal SNAP eligibility requirements for admission to each of the 16 Symbiosis institutes is that only SNAP test results are accepted.
Individual SNAP test eligibility (for example, cutoffs) and other essential admission criteria for each of the 16 Symbiosis institutes, however, may vary.
Admission to the Symbiosis MBA program is not guaranteed based on SNAP eligibility.
Some Symbiosis institutes place a higher emphasis on merit and have their own admission policies.
Specific SNAP Eligibility for Specific ProgramsDifferent Symbiosis Institutes, such as SSSS, Pune; SIHS, Pune; SCIT, Pune; SITM, Pune; SCMHRD, Pune; SIOM, Nashik, have their own eligibility standards, which should be reviewed on the Institute website.
For admission to MBA Infrastructure Management at SCMHRD or MBA Operations Management at SIOM Nashik, for example, you must be an engineering graduate.
To be eligible for an MBA at SCIT, you must have studied mathematics in high school.
SNAP 2021 Eligibility Criteria for Indian studentsFor Indian students, the fundamental SNAP eligibility conditions are that they hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for ST/SC) or equivalent. Candidates who are in their last year of college are also eligible to take the snap exam 2021.

Criteria for SNAP Eligibility for Foreign University Students:

A candidate who has obtained a qualifying degree from a foreign university must acquire an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to appear for the SNAP 2021 test (AIU). Before applying to any SIU program, the individual must have all international degrees/ credentials validated by AIU.

The candidate would have met the basic SNAP test eligibility and admission eligibility to the relevant Symbiosis MBA program once the Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues an equivalency certificate for international degrees/qualifications.

 

  • The SNAP 2021 test is open to foreign nationals, PIOs, OCIs, and NRIs.
  • He or she must hold a certificate of equivalency from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Before applying to any SIU program, the individual must have all international degrees/ credentials validated by AIU.
  • Candidates must have taken either the IELTS or the IELA and received a band 6 or a band 4 in both tests.
  • International candidates must present evidence of residency, a copy of their visa, and their passport at the time of registration; in the event of a student visa, the candidate must also present a Bonafide Certificate and a Letter of Provisional Admission from the University College/Institution.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2021: Institute Wise

Admission to all 16 SNAP participating institutes is not guaranteed based on the minimal SNAP qualifying criterion. The snap exam 2021 is the common denominator for admission to all of these institutions. However, there is a lot further to go. Other major entry criteria may vary per institute. Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD, Pune):Business Analytics (MBA)
Graduate with a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST) and at least two years of full-time job experience in the wake of graduation.
MBA
A minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) must be achieved to graduate.

A final-year student, whose admission is contingent on achieving a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST) in the qualifying test.
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM, Bengaluru):MBA

Graduation with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) grades is required.

A final-year student, whose admission is contingent on achieving a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST) in the qualifying test.
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM, Pune):MBA and MBA – Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Graduation with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) grades is required.

A final-year student, whose admission is contingent on achieving a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST) in the qualifying test.
Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB):MBA in Energy and Environmental Management

Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) with a minimum of 50% or similar grade (45% or comparable grade for SC/ ST). A final-year student's admission will be contingent on achieving a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for SC/ST).
MBA in International Business and MBA in Agribusiness are two MBA programs available.

A minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) must be achieved to graduate.

A final-year student, whose admission is contingent on achieving a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST) in the qualifying test.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2021: Reservation Policy of SIU

According to the official announcement, the reservation policy for admission to any SIU program (provided by any Institute) will be as follows, with the exception of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, which has its own policy.
